What BIG MISTAKE did Nora make?
Well, the series finale of season four of The Flash TV Series was aired on 22nd of May and it gave a huge cliff hanger which needs discussion.
Today I am going to take a slightly different approach to the general theory that is going on. But before proceeding any further I would like to give a spoiler warning for The Flash Season 4 as we need to discuss in full about the happenings in the season finale episode.
Firstly, we were introduced to the (as previously predicted) daughter of Iris and Barry. But unlike, predicted she turned out to be Nora, well it was even a possible theory, given the fact why on earth would Barry called his mother by her name while saying "NORA shouldn't be here." ??
Nora is not the only daughter of Barry and Iris, as Barry says they need more diapers. Now, the girl we see in four different occasions had braided hair and the one we were introduced to was Nora, having small haircut. Even, as pointed out by some notable theorists of the show on youtube that she had a slightly different tone of speaking than Nora.
Since I don't think they are going to use the name Dawn for the other girl as well, I am going to call her 'X' for now.
Now, my theory goes like this...
X and Nora grew up without a mother, as Iris died soon after she gave birth to them and Barry was a single parent who had to take care of them.
But we know from Season One that Barry also vanishes in a crisis and that would mean that the girls practically had to grow up like Barry in a foster family, probably Cisco as the foster parent and Cisco gave Nora the costume that he designed for Iris (just stretching).
Now X, missing her parents went back in different time to visit her parents marriage and other family members and/or friends. But that did not cause any problems as such (I have to guess she is the older one).
Then after she returned back in time she might have told about her visits to her sister and they thought of seeing them together this time but landed up in the time were Barry was about to break Sally's burning debris and was near his death and X helped him out by going back in time. (The twins might have made a similar costume thus has the same purple jacket but there are some white padding near the wrist in one's while the jacket that Nora dawned did not sport such padding as Iris's)
So, while going back in time they actually changed the timeline where they were supposed to lose Iris at birth but now have lost Barry earlier making Iris as the single parent and now that is why Nora could actually BORROW the costume that Iris wore from Iris while travelling back in time to meet Barry to fix such a thing as she knew Barry would recognise the Jacket at once as it belonged to Iris and would believe that she IS his daughter.
In this newly created Flashpoint-esque timeline Killer Frost has become the villain team Flash feared she will be, making her the Season Five none speedster BIG BAD.
So, I believe that this is the new take on the Flashpoint story that the show messed up with in season three and now they can actually make amendment to that.
