Are the DCTV Shows better than the DCEU?

"Filmmaking, like any other art, is a very profound means of human communication; beyond the professional pleasure of succeeding or the pain of failing, you do want your film to be seen, to communicate itself to other people." -Kenneth Lonergan
Filmmaking is the way of communicating the views of a person with that of its viewer. And only if there is a proper communication between the filmmaker and his viewer we can build a proper movie.
I am probably not the best one to comment on the part of the filmmaking but as a viewer I feel that a huge gap is forming when we are watching any of the movie from the DCEU.
There are many qualities that are required to build a universe and among these qualities some are continuity, story and interlinks.
Every single time I watch the DC TV shows on the televisions it seems that I am able to communicate with the characters of the TV Series. As if they are some person next door that you can meet and greet on a daily basis. But are the DCEU characters able to attain that position? At least for me it is not. Yes when I watched Wonder Woman it was well-build and there was proper connection with each of the characters neither of them were shown any less than the other. Each of them shared the story equally as much as thr main lead. That was the best part about the movie. But none of the other DCEU movies have been able to gather that quality and thus they seem to be appreciated by neither the critics nor the regular movie goers or even the fans of DC.
Even though built on a low budget the use of CG in the TV series are much more subtle and even creatively used. The likes of The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl series which are highly depended on the CG are beautifully and very professionally using the graphics. Whereas the DCEU seems to be lacking in that field.
The TV show characters are much more relatable than in DCEU- be it the sensitive Bruce Wayne in Gotham or Protective Oliver Queen in Arrow or Powerful Kara Danvers in Supergirl or anyone for that matter, you can connect easily with their back story and also how they have grown over the years.
But if we take Justice League, the latest addition to the DCEU, we were introduced to three absolutely new characters who we hardly knew and thus most of us were not able to connect to them. The characters that we were introduced to were the dead serious Victor Stone, the overly sarcastic Barry Allen and the Confused Arthur Curry [i.e. if he wanted to be dead serious or overly sarcastic]. How did they become like this? What made them behave the way they are now are a mystery for us to solve. The movie has not been able to even give any hint about their characteristics. Those characters hardly ever shared equal amount of screen time. We never got to see how there character shaped.
But the underlying fact that must be kept in mind that the movies only get at max two hours of time to tell their story per movie. But the TV series are build week by week and they get a lot of time to let their characters shape.
Then should we say that the DC Movies are better than the TV series? Not yet, as the DCEU is just in its pre-mature stage and only when the time comes we shall get to know each of the characters properly. So, if the DCEU takes slow steps towards introducing the character before making another team movie the audience shall be able to communicate with the filmmaker's perspective.
So in conclusion we may say that the TV series have done hardwork in placing their characters in the minds of the people and they have been able to positively influence their audience to come and watch their show. But the DCEU is not lagging behind as it is just in its novice stage and thus we should give time to support our characters and hope that it gets better with Aquaman this year.
