10 Reasons The Flash (2014) TV Series is Losing its Viewers


The Flash (2014) when released was one of the biggest hits among the superhero Genre in TV but slowly and steadily its ratings dropped and now in its fourth season it has dropped almost 18%. But there are certain things that is leading to such fall in its rating. We shall have to discuss in details about the plots of the show, so there might be SPOILERS AHEAD.

10. THE CHARACTERS: 

Most of the characters of the show which are highly appreciated by the fans are either killed off or is send off. For example, it started with Patty Spivot. The moment there was a good chemistry brewing in between Patty and Barry the character was send off without any hope of her to return back anytime soon. So it happened with Wally (who have joined the Legends), Jessie and HR as well.

09. THE STORY:

Every single episode of the show clearly is interpreted by the fans way before it can even come on screen. It just revolves around Barry trying to learn how to increase his speed. Not only that the new characters which are introduced are always anticipated by the fans of the Comic Character. It is so predictable. It is not only that they sent off Wally and Jessie as well. With their presence it could have been a good arc for Barry to become the leader of the team as well as their mentor.

08. THE VILLANS:

Except for Captain Cold and now Devoe, none of the villains are at par with the speed of the Flash and yet he is unable to catch the bad guy of the day by himself. He has to take help from a team of scientists, physicists, biologist, chemist, journalist, detective, and every other profession that you can think of, to get the bad guy.

07. EVERYONE IS A META:

With Run Iris Run episode, Joe is the only one left in the team who is not a meta and yet none of their powers are used for the team. Especially the powers of Vibe and Killer Frost are so underutilized. If you have watched the Episode of Run Iris Run, then you probably will remember that even Harry is now able to think fast with the help of his thinking cap and he  can be considered to be a meta.

06. UNNECESSARY JOKES:

Humour is a different thing, I even love the subtle puns and Easter eggs by Cisco but with the addition of Ralph in the team, it has not been the same. The humour has turned into forced jokes.

05. THE COSTUMES:

It is acceptable that the budget of the show is not as much as the movies but every costume in the whole Arrowverse is made out of leather. The looks can be said to be good but logically it is impossible for people to be wearing leather while flying or jumping or fighting or even running. It is impossible to believe to be running in such high pace while wearing a leather pant.

04. SEASON THREE:


The main reason for most of viewers to have stopped watching the show is the whole Third Season of the show. The villain was as usually a Speedster who is 'close' to Barry and is trying to kill him. For two seasons it was bearable but for the third one people just lost all their hopes from the show. It was so predictable that from the very beginning of the season speculations was absolutely spot on. And it was finally revealed to be Barry himself. Wow! And guess what irony was forced in the plot---that the one who is trying to kill Iris all through the season, but for some reason was waiting for that exact date to kill her (I mean he is from the future, have altered timeline 'n' number of times and he waits for the exact same day he killed Iris, as if he is somehow celebrating the day), is killed by Iris herself.

03. CATLIN SNOW/KILLER FROST:

The character of Catlin Snow is one of the most favorite ones. In season one, she was a person who just lost her soul mate Ronnie and was trying to cope up. She helped Barry develop his speed along with the help of Harrison Wells and Cisco. But after Barry decided to run back in time to save his mother and tried to revert back the happenings, everything changed and she got her powers and became Killer Frost. As per comics, she is supposed to be a villain but since Catlin is the most loved character she was given the ability to revert back to Catlin when ever she wished. Really??

02. IRIS WEST-ALLEN:


Nothing can be said much about this character. If Catlin is the most loved character, she is the most hated one. And the reason is her existence itself. She is supposed to be a journalist. I know she is trying to figure herself out but that is not the reason that I hate her character. She is a hypocrite. In season one, in the very beginning of the show she stated that Barry was like her "Brother". She was head over heels in love with Eddie Thawne. But in order to save the future and erase the existence of Reverse Flash, Eddie killed himself. Now when Barry fell in love with Linda, she made her sole responsibility to break them apart but she is not in love with Barry yet. Now in season three she remembered that she has always been in love with Barry. The one she called to be her Brother. I mean atleast binge watch your show and then proceed with the writing it makes no sense.

01. BARRY ALLEN/THE FLASH:

Watching the character of Barry is a painstaking one. He is over emotional, over dramatic and every bit of the reason why it seems to not watch the show ever again. For three and a half seasons he has not been able to be a proper Speedster, he hardly knows anything about the speedforce, he is not even a proper mentor, he is not a leader, he is nothing to the team, yet he has to be everything. Without him the Team would have easily been able to defeat any villain like bread and butter. What he gives to the team is yet unknown to me. He is a Speedster accepted but so was Wally and Jessie and they were far better than Barry as atleast after they received their powers they did not went back in time to change their past, even their mother's died. He is the very reason for all the happenings of the seasons. Season One- he became a Speedster tried to stop the man in yellow suit. Season Two- he tried to stop the wormhole and opened a breach to the another earth. Season Three- he went back in time and came back to have created Savitor. Season 4- he chose to go into the Speedforce, friends tried to bring him back, he created Bus-Metas. Seriously!

Why Ron and Hermione were meant for each other?

J. K. Rowling took all of us through the magical gate of platform no. 9 and 3/4 at Kings Cross Station into the Wizarding World. Very beautifully written, she gave a great new look at the way of literature for kids who can now not only read what they love, like magic and adventure, but they can learn from the texts as well. As there are various life changing statements given in the book by J. K. Rowling through the words of Albus Dumbledore, Sirius, Harry and others. It is quite obvious for all the people, who have actually read the books or have watched the movie series of Harry Potter, that Ron and Hermione ended up together. But few years ago just one statement by the author of this magical series, J. K. Rowling, telling the press that she made a mistake by keeping Ron and Hermione together makes the whole point of the build-up of the story's main couple worthless. And thus today I am solely going to concentrate on the fact that why Ron and Hermione are the best couple.

Why we believe that the Hufflepuff is the Worst House-Explained

I am a Proud Gryffindor but very recently my brother got sorted in the Hufflepuff and was bummed out about that. So I went down in search for some facts about why the Hufflepuffs are considered to be the worst house...guess what I found. In the whole series hardly there is a mention about the Hufflepuffs being timid, foolish or naive, other than Draco and his mates insulting the House members. Rather there are instances of Hufflepuff being there for their friends like Cedric Diggory, Nymphadora Tonks and many more. But there is one person than other Draco who is the reason behind us believing that Hufflepuff is the worst house and it is none other than- RUBEUS HAGRID . Yes and I am not accusing our ol' friend but I have facts proving this theory. He is now trapped in his own lies.  My theory is that Hagrid's hatred for one person lead to him insulting the whole House but deep down inside he didn't hate the House itself.
