Future of Superhero Genre after death in Infinity War

It has been confirmed by both Robert Downey Junior and Chris Evans that they might quit after the fourth Avengers movie releases, that is the Infinity Wars. And that means MCU has to deal with that fact someway or another and the best possible logic being one's death and the other retiring.
Before proceeding any further I would like to give a SPOILER warning as there might be some possible SPOILERS AHEAD regarding Infinity Wars or for people who have not yet caught up with all of MCU.

So, be it Ironman's death leading to Cap's retirement or vice versa, we are going to see one die for sure.

In my opinion, MCU might kill of the character of Captain America as he is the most beloved character of MCU by far and that is an easy way to get viewers most emotional at this point of time With the heavy fall in Ironman's Fan base in the last few years we can easily presume they will try to get his hands cleaned up by making him retire with the death of Cap and making him the good one who gives every effort in saving Cap's life.

But what does it mean for MCU or even Superhero Genre for that matter. Are we ever going to be as exited as we are for Infinity Wars right now?

We were introduced to this marvelous classification of movies with the introduction of Ironman (I am not considering any previous superhero movie as part of that genre as they never lead to a whole universe or was even a canon). Slowly and steadily with the growth of the Marvel Universe with the rising success of the Ironman 2 movie (The Incredible Hulk movie was also released in between but that was not as big of a hit and they even had to change the person playing Bruce Banner) we were introduced to Thor and our beloved Captain America. These were the very first characters that we were introduced to. Thor being a God is immortal and his death in the MCU is not near as well, because he has just started to make his footings in the MCU with his Greatest Hits so far in the MCU that being Thor: Ragnanok. There are possibilities of Hulk retiring as well since he will finally want to settle down and have a normal life as he was even previously concerned that he might not turn back into Bruce if he ever became Hulk again.

So, now the only choices remaining are the two of the veterans of Avengers who were the reason it all began i.e. CAPTAIN AMERICA and IRONMAN. What if one of them dies then were are we left. As previously mentioned Captain America is the best possible choice of character to die in the Infinity Wars. But with his death the whole Superhero Genre would presumably die as well. New characters might be introduced but fan base will always be searching for their beloved Cap or Ironman, whoever may die.

Most importantly, Captain America is a symbol of hope not only for the MCU but for people in genreral. He is the sole reason parents take their children to watch the MCU as he is the one to be giving life lessons to kids as it was even shown in Spiderman- Homecoming. With the growing use of abusive and slang languages in the movies, Captain America was the only person who gave the parents reasons that their children might learn something good out the movies the kids even can enjoy. And with the death of Captain America, MCU might have to lose out on their majority viewers as well or atleast think of someone to take up his mantle.
Not only that there is high possibilities with the death of Captain America and/or Ironman, the non-comic loving moviegoers might lose interest in watching movies without their favourite Captain America or Ironman. Though it could have been best opportunity for DCEU to take up the Superhero Genre on their shoulders, but with constant poor performace of their universe it is very likely that the non-comic loving movie goers are ever going come back unless there is a valid reason for them to look back to this particular genre of movies.
And that is a huge risk for not only MCU but DCEU as well since it is at its very novice stage and it has planned a huge future for their universe and so has MCU too. (A list of Upcoming MCU and DCEU Movies has been provided at the end of this post.
Whatever might be the case, we shall be always supporting our respective universes with our heart and soul. And as for the question of who might die in the Infinity Wars is concerned, we shall be aware of that on 25th of April 2018, but until then keep on reading and learn more about your favorite genre.
